Setting Up QR Menu

The QR menu lets customers browse your restaurant’s menu on their smartphones by scanning a QR code. This guide covers everything from initial configuration to generating the QR codes you’ll place on tables.

QR code generation

  1. In the left sidebar, click “Stores”
  2. Click on the store you want to configure
  3. Look for the “QR Menu” or “QR Settings” tab within the store details

Toggle the “Enable QR Menu” switch to ON. This activates the QR menu for this store.

  • Brand Color — Sets the primary color for the QR menu interface
  • Logo — Upload your restaurant logo to display at the top of the QR menu

Click “Save” to apply your configuration.

After saving, scroll to the “QR Code” section. Here you can:

  • Download as PNG — Download a high-resolution QR code image to include in print materials
  • Download as SVG — Download a vector version for scaling to any size
  • Print directly — Print the QR code directly from the browser

Place your QR code on:

  • Table tent cards
  • Physical menus and menu covers
  • Window stickers at the entrance
  • On receipts
  • Posted at the counter

Before distributing your QR codes, test the menu on your phone:

  1. Open your smartphone camera
  2. Point it at the QR code
  3. Tap the notification to open the URL
  4. Browse through the menu and verify everything looks correct

Check that:

  • All categories appear in the correct order
  • Products show the correct names, descriptions, and prices
  • Images load correctly
  • Language switching works (if configured)

The QR menu always reflects your current products and prices from the dashboard. When you update a product price, add a new item, or change a category, the QR menu updates automatically — no need to reprint QR codes.

If needed, you can generate different QR codes for different areas within a store — for example, a separate code for the bar menu versus the dining room menu, each linking to a filtered view of your products.
