Managing Prices
MenuPlat gives you flexible pricing tools that go beyond a simple fixed price per item. This guide covers how to manage standard pricing, set up price tiers for multiple locations, and use time-based pricing rules.

Standard Product Pricing
Section titled “Standard Product Pricing”The simplest pricing approach is to set a single price on each product:
- Go to Dashboard → Products
- Click on a product to open it
- Find the “Price” field
- Enter the price and click “Save”
This price appears on all screens and QR menus across all stores, unless a price tier overrides it.
Price Tiers (Multiple Locations)
Section titled “Price Tiers (Multiple Locations)”If you run multiple store locations and need different prices at each one — for example, your airport location charges more than your neighborhood branch — use price tiers.
Creating a Price Tier
Section titled “Creating a Price Tier”- Go to Dashboard → Pricing (or Settings → Pricing Tiers)
- Click “Add Price Tier”
- Give the tier a name (e.g., “Standard”, “Airport”, “City Centre”, “Takeaway”)
- Click “Save”
Assigning a Tier to a Store
Section titled “Assigning a Tier to a Store”- Go to Dashboard → Stores
- Open the store you want to assign a tier to
- Find the “Price Tier” setting
- Select the appropriate tier
- Click “Save”
Setting Prices per Tier
Section titled “Setting Prices per Tier”- Go to a product and open it for editing
- Under the “Pricing” section, you’ll see a row for each price tier
- Enter the price for each tier
- Click “Save”
The store with the “Airport” tier assigned will display airport prices, while stores with the “Standard” tier show standard prices — all from a single product entry.
Time-Based Pricing (Happy Hour / Breakfast Pricing)
Section titled “Time-Based Pricing (Happy Hour / Breakfast Pricing)”With time-based pricing rules, you can automatically apply different prices during specific times of day.
Creating a Pricing Schedule
Section titled “Creating a Pricing Schedule”- Go to Dashboard → Pricing → Price Schedules
- Click “Add Schedule”
- Configure:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Schedule Name | E.g., “Happy Hour”, “Breakfast”, “Lunch Special” |
| Days | Which days of the week this applies |
| Start Time | When the pricing rule activates |
| End Time | When the pricing rule deactivates |
| Price Tier | Which tier’s prices apply during this window |
- Assign the schedule to a store or all stores
- Click “Save”
During the scheduled window, the prices from the selected tier are used. Outside the window, standard prices apply.
Example Pricing Setup
Section titled “Example Pricing Setup”Here’s an example for a café with a happy hour promotion:
| Tier Name | Used For |
|---|---|
| Standard | Regular all-day prices |
| Happy Hour | Discounted prices (3 PM – 6 PM weekdays) |
Products are priced in both tiers. A schedule activates the “Happy Hour” tier from 3 PM to 6 PM on Monday–Friday. Customers scanning the QR menu during happy hour see the discounted prices automatically.
Viewing Current Prices
Section titled “Viewing Current Prices”To check what prices are currently active on your QR menu:
- Go to your store’s QR menu URL on your phone
- The live prices shown are what customers currently see
