System Requirements
MenuPlat is a web-based platform — there is nothing to install on your computer. This page covers what you need to use MenuPlat for both management (the dashboard) and displaying menus on screens.
For the Dashboard (Management)
Section titled “For the Dashboard (Management)”To manage your menus, stores, and settings through the MenuPlat dashboard, you need:

Recommended Setup for Dedicated Screens
Section titled “Recommended Setup for Dedicated Screens”For the best reliability on a dedicated display screen, we recommend:
- A mini PC (e.g., Intel NUC, Beelink, etc.) or Raspberry Pi 4/5 connected to your TV via HDMI
- Running Google Chrome in kiosk mode pointing to your MenuPlat display URL
- Setting Chrome to launch automatically on startup
This provides a stable, always-on display that restarts automatically and never shows a desktop.
For QR Menus (Customer-Facing)
Section titled “For QR Menus (Customer-Facing)”Customers viewing your QR menu on their own devices need:
- Any smartphone or tablet with a camera and browser
- No app installation required — the QR menu opens in their mobile browser
- Works on iOS Safari, Android Chrome, and all other modern mobile browsers
No Node.js or Developer Tools Required
Section titled “No Node.js or Developer Tools Required”You do not need Node.js, npm, or any developer tools to use MenuPlat. The platform is fully managed — just sign up and use it in your browser.
