Analytics & Reports

MenuPlat’s analytics and reporting tools help you understand how customers interact with your menus and how your business is performing. All reports are accessible from Dashboard → Reports.

Track how customers engage with your QR menus:

If you have QR menu ordering enabled, track sales data:

  1. In the left sidebar, click “Reports”
  2. Select the report type from the tabs or menu
  3. Use the date range picker to filter the period you’re interested in
  4. Use the store filter to view data for one specific location or across all locations

You can view reports for:

  • Today
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 3 months
  • Custom date range

To export report data:

  1. Open the report you want to export
  2. Click “Export” or the download icon
  3. Choose CSV or Excel format
  4. The file downloads to your computer

Exports include all the data visible in the report for your selected date range and store filter.

MenuPlat also tracks basic screen activity:

  • Screen uptime — How long each screen was online vs. offline
  • Screen health — Alerts when a screen goes offline unexpectedly
  • Playlist impressions — How many times each content item was displayed

Some practical ways to use your analytics data:

  • Remove low-performing products — If a product is rarely viewed or ordered, consider removing it or repositioning it in the menu
  • Promote popular items — Feature your most-viewed products prominently on screens
  • Optimize pricing — If a high-viewed product has a low order rate, the price might be a barrier
  • Adjust peak hour staffing — Use peak scan times to predict busy periods
  • A/B test content — Change a content item’s layout and compare engagement before and after
